At Birthday Cufflinks you can choose the year of an Irish coin, which we hand make into a set of cufflinks. The first coins of the Irish free state were made in 1928, WB Yeats was the Chairman of the first Irish coin committee and he ran a competition to choose designs which was a reflection of Irish heritage and culture.
Ireland switched to the Euro in 2002 and these coins are no longer available making them a unique gift.
